Apply to participate in the Model Constitutional Convention at ASU Law in Phoenix, May 23–26, 2024. Undergraduate students and all law students from universities across the United States are encouraged to apply to participate as delegates.

The Model Constitutional Convention is a simulated constitutional convention to be held at Arizona State University on May 23-26, 2024. Please provide the information required in the fields below to complete your application. Law and undergraduate students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Applications received by March 1, 2024 will receive full consideration.

    Please identify the university you currently attend (or from which you just recently graduated, if you will have just finished your college degree in May), and your year in college or law school.
    V. Undergraduate courses in Government, Law or Policy*
    Please list the courses you have taken that cover material related to American Government, Comparative Government, Constitutional Law, Business Law, The Policy Process, Legislation, Regulation, Judicial Process, Administrative Law, or any other related courses—whether focused on the United States or on other nations and/or international law and policy.
    Each student will be assigned to represent one of the fifty states, with two students representing each state. Model Convention organizers will provide delegates with demographic, political, and economic information about each state and delegates are expected to represent their assigned state’s interests. Please provide your top three choices for states you prefer to represent, in order of preference below. Model Convention organizers will make every effort to assign students to their preferred states. We encourage students with diverse policy and political preferences to participate in the Model Convention.
    Because some students may be unable to attend at the last minute, we hope that some student applicants will be willing to serve as Alternate Delegates to the Model Convention. Student Alternates will attend the Model Convention, join in the debates on the floor, and enjoy the same financial support for travel and lodging as any other delegate to the Convention.
